Why Puppies?

Bring your four-legged pall for some exercise and emotional support while finding valuable resources, learning talking points and conversation starters, gathering information on how to prevent sexual assault in the Copper Country, and where to go for help when you or a loved one is in need.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) has been nationally recognized since 2001. The SAAM movement got its roots in the 1970s, as activists began to speak more publicly against marital and domestic violence. By the 1990s, activists were gathering annually to speak out against sexual violence and assault.

Copper Shores will be mobilizing throughout the month. Find the team across the community:

  • Start by Believing Day - April 2, 2025
  • Puppy Parade - April 17, 2025
  • Denim Day - April 30, 2025

You are not alone.
