In between workbook sessions, Copper Shores will host Wellness Nights, community-driven events designed to teach valuable skills and practices that contribute to overall wellness.
All workbook materials are provided by Copper Shores, free of charge. Snacks and light refreshments will be provided at each meeting.
The first meeting is on Monday, February 24, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The Wellness Compass: Workbook for Adults
The Wellness Compass Workbook for Adults is a self-guided resource that offers a step-by-step guide for adults who are feeling inspired in their journey of growth and change and are looking for support and guidance as they seek greater wellness and balance in eight areas of well-being.
The Adult Self Assessment consists of eighty statements, ten for each of the eight different areas of wellness: care for the body, spirituality, relationships, stress resilience, organization, rest and play, work/school, and handling emotions.
The intent is to help adults observe where things stand for them now, and help them determine if there is an area of wellness to which they would like to pay more attention. Through self-assessments in each of these areas, participants will learn to set SMART-Step goals and map their personal journeys of growth and transformation.
Wellness Nights
Open and free to community members outside of the support group, Wellness Nights are led by local health experts on topics including somatic meditation, sound baths, trauma-informed yoga, nutrition, art therapy, biofield tuning, tapping, and more. These hands-on activities are designed to provide tangible takeaways and easy-to-integrate tools for participants to use along their wellness journeys.
In addition to the activity, instructors will provide practical tips and strategies for incorporating the practice at home, empowering individuals to continue their wellness journey independently and apply what they've learned in their own time and space.
Full Schedule
Those who sign up for the full 22 week Wellness Journey Support Group are automatically included in Wellness Nights.
