The community is invited to join a free webinar on Wednesday, June 28 at 11 a.m. to learn about the results of a food survey sent out to residents of Baraga, Gogebic, Houghton, Iron, Keweenaw and Ontonagon county residents.

What you'll learn
- Explore what makes our communities unique in terms of food access, utilization, procurement, interest, support.
- Analyze the similarities and differences between counties and compare them to the state and national data.
- Analyze what language came from USDA Food Security assessment vs our own development, etc.
Purpose
- To update community partners working in food systems, food access, and food education on WUP food survey results.
- To punctuate and celebrate what our communities are already doing well in terms of food systems engagement, interest, etc.
- To highlight the data that reflects our unique communities.
- To expand our knowledge, there are no other surveys like the Western UP Food Survey, especially for rural areas.
