Copper Shores Community Health Foundation is excited to announce the third annual Community-Wide Picnic will take place at Gabriel Chopp Park in Ahmeek on Sunday, July 28, 2024.

2024-1-11-SocialMedia-Instagram-CopperShoresCommunityPicnic-OL-SAVETHEDATE-1x1“We’ve had active engagement with many volunteers from this community who are trying to make improvements that will benefit all citizens and visitors,” said Kevin Store, CEO/president of Copper Shores. “It is going to be incredibly fun and gratifying to be able to celebrate those folks’ achievements for the community in the newly renovated park.”

Copper Shores has supported and worked with many community members in Ahmeek over the last 10 years. In recent years, Copper Shores has helped fund park improvements that meet ADA requirements, supported the purchase of off-road fire and rescue equipment for the volunteer fire department, supplied AEDs to key locations in the area, and worked closely with the fire department during the annual #GivingTuesday campaign.

The event will include food, activities, a nonprofit vendor expo, raffle prizes and more. All activities, games, and lunch, are free and open to the public with activities going from noon to 3 p.m. at the Gabriel Chopp Park. A full schedule and list of vendors, raffle prizes and activities will be announced as the event gets closer.
