Get funding support: Small Grant opportunity available
March 4, 2024 | By Emilie Jacques
Copper Shores Community Health Foundation has officially released the 2024 Small Grants Program Request for Proposals (RFP). Copper Shores has allocated $15,000 towards successful proposals under this round of funding. The maximum amount awarded per grant under this RFP will be $2,500. Applications are due on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.
The grant supports projects that will have an impact on community health and wellness while addressing the systemic health needs and risk factors faced by residents of the Copper Country.
In 2023, this grant was awarded to six organizations with past projects including website updates that enhance user experience, equipment upgrades for firefighters and the addition of adaptive equipment for pickleball and tennis to a local court.
The grant is intended to enhance access to services, programs, or activities that otherwise would not be possible in Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw and Ontonagon Counties. Additionally, the organization must demonstrate how the grant activities will be sustained outside the grant period.
Eligibility requirements and RFP details can be found at coppershores.org/grants. Interested parties can reach out to the Copper Shores by calling (906) 523-5920 or emailing info@coppershores.org.
