Expectations
Copper Shores desires to have committed, community-minded individuals serving on the Board of Directors and the committees. Copper Shores hopes that each member of the Board and committees find their involvement to be both a personally and professionally rewarding experience while serving together.
Members of the Board of Directors should act on behalf of and represent Copper Shores stakeholders including service recipients, funders, local municipalities/governments and the citizens of the community. The time, talents and contributions invested by each individual who volunteers is greatly appreciated.
Board Structure
The Board consists of (up to) 11 Directors, including executive office holders:
- Board Chair
- Board Vice Chair
- Treasurer
- Secretary
Committees
Copper Shores has five committees, including:
- Bridges Steering Committee
- Donor & Community Relations Committee
- Executive Committee*
- Finance & Investment Committee
- Grants Management Committee
*Filled by Directors that hold an executive office.
Joining the Board or a committee
Please note that Copper Shores requires all Directors to serve on at least one of Copper Shores' committees. However, not all committee members serve on the Board. All Copper Shores Board and committee members serve without monetary compensation.
