Hats for Hope back in 2024
Seniors recently completed a survey for Hats for Hope, an initiative that brings handmade hats, blankets, scarves and mittens to people in need. If there is anyone who didn’t fill out the form wants to, they must do so by January 31. Call (906) 483-1155 to receive the survey.
Semiannual in-home assessments are coming up again for many of our seniors. We do this to get to know each person we serve on an individual level and to understand what unique needs each person has. We will be in touch with seniors between February and April.
The annual survey for senior feedback is coming back in a few weeks. Menus are created with senior input thoughtfully considered. We can’t always meet the tastes of everyone, but we appreciate the time that people take to fill out the survey. Delivery drivers will distribute the survey with regular meal distribution.
The distributor we purchase milk from is currently unable to distribute 2% milk. In the meantime, we will be serving 1% milk. We will serve 2% milk as soon as we can get an order in.
