Human Trafficking Training
Human Trafficking Training
Victim Services Unit (VSU) offers training in identifying the signs and evidence of trafficking and what to do if someone is suspected of being trafficked.
Human trafficking takes on many forms, but is often carried out in plain sight, if one knows what to look for. Human traffickers may move victims from location to location, using hotels, motels and rental spaces. In addition, victims may still attend medical appointments and check ups.
Who is this training for?
This training is geared towards medical facilities, hotels and rental owners, but is also a great choice for community members.
The training counts towards the 1 hour per year continued education required by the state of Michigan for hotels and medical facilities. It does not count towards Masters in Social Work Continued Education Units.
