Why have two events in one?
Houghton Keweenaw Suicide Prevention Coalition
Though previously separate events, the Family Fun Fair and Resource Fair share a common goal and team of passionate community members. Copper Shores Outreach & Education and Keweenaw Support 4 Healthy Minds are both a part of the Houghton Keweenaw Suicide Prevention Coalition, a group of local professionals and mental health providers focussed on reducing the negative stigma surrounding mental health and increasing awareness for the suicide prevention resources available in the Copper Country.
